Hi, my name
is Daisy and I'm a 2 year old Springer Spaniel.
This is a picture of me when I was just 4 months old. A few
days after this picture was taken I was stolen from my
garden by someone who climbed over the back fence.
My mum
and dad were inside preparing the tea and had no idea what
was happening. It was not long before they came out to
play with me and realised I was gone. My mum could not stop
crying while she frantically ran around the streets looking
for me.
My mum and dad did not eat or sleep for days but hoped that one day
I would return. They had
had me microchipped as a young puppy so that even if my collar was
removed I would have a chance of being returned.
Two months
had passed and there was no news, and then, out of the blue
they received a phone call from a vet over 60 miles away
from home. I had been found after being hit by a car. Thanks to
the vet scanning me for a microchip my mum and dad were told
where I was and came straight down to get me. Luckily I just
had cuts and bruises from the accident and was able to go home
just a few hours later.
No one
will every really know what happened to me in those two
months, but I feel really lucky to be back home with my
family now. |
